Perimeters in Fairways Guarantees define what guarantees the user is allowed to see and associate together.
When creating an entity, an entity perimeter is automatically created and associated with that entity. The entity perimeter name is similar to its entity name, adding up the entity code and an asterisk *, e.g. if my entity name is Alpha and its code is 0001, then my entity perimeter name is Alpha (0001)*. An entity perimeter is associated with:
- All business units
- All countries
- All purposes
You cannot edit this association.
However, you can create generic perimeters. A generic perimeter is an association of:
- Entities
- Business units
- Countries
- Purposes
After creating a generic perimeter, you can associate it with specific entities, business units, countries, and purposes.
Navigate to the Perimeters Section
- Log in to your Fairways Guarantees account.
- Select a customer account.
- Navigate to Administration > Perimeters.
Create a Perimeter
- Click Add Perimeter.
- Complete the form with all relevant details.
Note: Fields marked with an asterisk * are mandatory.
