2019/04/23 - Fairways Debt - Lenient Mode for Transactions Using XML Importation

When importing transactions via XML, it can happen your amortization sum is slightly different from the nominal value, e.g. the system where the data comes from cannot handle centiles, etc.

Fairways Debt provides a lenient mode so transactions are still imported if they match the threshold defined.

To enable the lenient mode:

  1. Add the <lenient> tags in the <meta> tags of a transaction.
  2. Add the <threshold> tags in the <lenient> tags.
  3. Enter the threshold.

In this example, we apply the lenient mode to a standard loan, with a threshold of 2 [currency]. If the value difference is lower or equal to 2, the standard loan is imported to Fairways Debt. If the value difference is higher than 2, the standard loan is not imported to Fairways Debt.
