Create a Collateral Type

Fairways Debt enables you to associate collaterals and guarantees. Create collateral types to sort and create collaterals.

Note: Only account administrators can create collateral types.

 

Prerequisite

Contact your Finance Active consultant to:

 

Navigate to the Account Administration Application
  1. Log in to your Fairways Debt account and select a customer account, if relevant.

In this example, we log in to the Main City account.

  1. Navigate to Applications Applications.png > Account Administration.

Create a Collateral Type
  1. Click Account > Account Configuration.
  2. Click Add Collateral Type.

  1. Complete the form with all relevant details.

Note: Fields marked with an asterisk * are mandatory.

Field

Description

Code

Unique reference of the collateral.

Note: Once you have created the collateral, you can no longer edit its code.

Name

Name of the collateral.
  1. Click Apply.

The new collateral displays in the list...

... you can now create collaterals associated with guarantees.
