2014/08/26 - Fairways Guarantees - Summer Improvements

We still have a lot in stock for the coming weeks (and months) but we can definitely say that we did our homework during holidays.
You will find below a list of the changes brought to Koesio during the last few weeks. We hope that you will like the outcome and, as usual, are eager to hear from you!

Counter-guarantee Module (Stay tuned for the forthcoming dedicated post!)

  • [NEW] New and improved counter-guarantee module
  • [NEW] You can add a counter-guarantee through the dedicated menu in the guarantee sheet
  • [NEW] It is now possible to set the counter-guarantee impact either on the guaranteed amount or fees (or both)

Fees Module

  • [NEW] It is now possible to manually set the exchange rate for a payment (cf. missing historical rates)
  • [NEW] Ten decimals are now allowed when setting the exchange rate of a given payment (previously limited to 2)
  • [BUG FIX] Last payment computation used to take into account the release date whatever the last payment rule was
  • [BUG FIX] Koesio is now handling far better manual values (cf. focus handling, rounding, resetting to calculated value…)

Reporting Module

  • [NEW] Improved performances in the “Authorization” report generation
  • [BUG FIX] Some amounts in the “Evolutions” report were not properly formatted
  • [BUG FIX] Security filters were applied while computing used and available authorizations amounts (don’t ask…)

  • [NEW] Audit logs on guarantees have been improved (fees and amount creation/update/deletion)
  • [NEW] Improved translations in all our languages. Should you find anything wrong, please tell us and we will catch up!
  • [NEW] The currency dropdown menu is now larger to prevent the scroll-bar from overriding the labels on windows
  • [NEW] Numerous minor (or not so minor) cosmetic improvements (guarantee details, integration, audit…)
  • [BUG FIX] It was possible to set a nominal expiry date prior to the effective date
  • [BUG FIX] It was possible to add amount evolutions dated prior to the effective date
  • [BUG FIX] It was possible to modify a “non editable date” by clicking on its calendar icon
  • [BUG FIX] The header of the table displaying the result of exchange rates integration was way too big
  • [BUG FIX] The update of a pool of guarantors could lead to have two leaders for a single pool… one too many
  • [BUG FIX] Cryptic tooltip messages where displayed on various fields (guarantee creation form, status update…)
  • [BUG FIX] When the country field was left empty the first country in the list was used as default value (instead of raising a warning)
    h4. Technical stuff
  • [NEW] Improved support for Chrome and Internet Explorer (8+)
  • [NEW] Improved performances when exchange rates are requested (fees, reports…)
  • [BUG FIX] Login was requested when clicking on generated Excel files (even though the user was already logged in)

We strongly recommend you to use the latest version of Firefox, Chrome or Safari to get the best experience out of Koesio. Internet Explorer – especially IE 7 and 8 – are still second-class web citizens in terms of W3C standards and performances. We do our best but there is only so much we can do :-)
