On Date vs. Persistent
On date amounts/percentages only apply to specific dates, whereas persistent amounts/percentages apply to a period.
In this example, we have two indicators, one for each mode.
On Date Amounts |
Persistent Amounts |
---|---|
If we set the value date to:
- 29 March 2019: Neither on-date nor persistent values display.
-
10 April 2019:
- The exact on date value displays.
- The exact or the closest early persistent value applies, here, the value on 30 March 2019 applies as 15 April 2019 is later than 10 April 2019.
-
2 May 2019:
- No on date value displays as no value matches that date.
- The closest early persistent value applies, i.e. 30 April 2019.
