If the Auto Custom Attributes setting is enabled for the account, the new external indicator is ready for use in transactions and reports. If the Auto Custom Attributes setting is disabled for the account, you are required to manually enable the external indicator for each organization.

On Date vs. Persistent

On date amounts/percentages only apply to specific dates, whereas persistent amounts/percentages apply to a period.

In this example, we have two indicators, one for each mode.

If we set the value date to:

  • 29 March 2019: Neither on-date nor persistent values display.

Date_None_EN.png

  • 10 April 2019:
    • The exact on date value displays.
    • The exact or the closest early persistent value applies, here, the value on 30 March 2019 applies as 15 April 2019 is later than 10 April 2019.

  • 2 May 2019:
    • No on date value displays as no value matches that date.
    • The closest early persistent value applies, i.e. 30 April 2019.
