Create a Metadata

Updated

The Documents module of Fairways Debt stores all your documents. Metadata enables you to import the content of your documents when using API.

Note: Only administrators can manage document metadata.

 

Navigate to the Account Administration
  1. Log in to your Fairways Debt account.
  2. Select a customer account.
  3. Navigate to Applications > Account Administration.

 

Create a Metadata
  1. Navigate to Administration > Documents Module.
  2. Click Add Metadata.

  1. Complete the form with all relevant details.

Note: Fields marked with an asterisk * are mandatory.

Field

Description

Code

Code referencing the metadata.

Name

Name of the metadata.

Type

Type of the metadata to enter in the XML file:

  1. Text: Sequence of letters, e.g. abc
  2. Double: Decimals, e.g. 9.8
  3. Boolean: True or False
  4. Long: Long integers
  5. Int: Integers, e.g. 10
  6. Datetime: Date and time, as YYYY-MM-DD'T'hh:mm:ss
  7. Date: Date, as YYYY-MM-DD
  8. Undefined: If no type suits the metadata, e.g. a combination of alphanumeric characters

Global
  1. Enable to make that metadata available for all organizations of the account.
  2. Disable to make that metadata available only for this organization.
  1. Click Apply to create the metadata.
