Fairways Debt notifies you by email when an event occurs. To create an event and link it to a transaction, you must first create an event type to categorize that event.
You can create an event type either from the Account Administration or the Calendar application.
Note: Only administrators can manage event types.
Prerequisites
Contact your Finance Active consultant to enable the Calendar application.
Navigate to the Account Administration or the Calendar Application
- Log in to your Fairways Debt account and select a customer account, if relevant.
- Click either Account Administration or Calendar in the application menu.
Create an Event type...
... From the Account Administration Application
- Navigate to Account > Account Configuration.
- Click Add Custom Event Type.

- Complete the form with all relevant details.
Note: Fields marked with an asterisk * are mandatory.

Unique code identifier of the event type. Note: The code is not editable once the event type is created. |
| Name | Name of the event type. |
| Color | Color of the event type, that displays in the calendar and in the transaction page. |
- Click OK to confirm.

The new event type displays in the Custom Event Types list...

... and in the Custom Types section in Calendar.

... From the Calendar Application
- Click Calendar Settings

- Click Add Custom Event Type on the Event Types tab.

- Complete the form with all relevant details.
Note: Fields marked with an asterisk * are mandatory.
