Covenants in Fairways Debt are agreements specifying actions and thresholds that the borrower must perform and respect. Covenants protect lenders when borrowers do not meet their requirements.
Metrics define the measurements to meet in a covenant.
- Log in to your Fairways Debt account and select a customer account, if relevant.
- Navigate to Applications
> Debt & Derivatives > Entities.
- Click the relevant entity name.
In this example, we log in to the Main City account.

- Click Metrics.

Filter the metrics by status.
- A metric is in "Upcoming" status when the value of the current period has not been entered.
- A metric is in "Overdue" status when the value of the previous period has not been entered.
- A metric is in "Done" status when the values of both periods have been entered.

Select the relevant scenario in the list to display the corresponding metrics.

Sort metrics. Click an item:
- Once, to sort by ascending alphabetical or numerical order. An arrow directing to the top ↑ displays beside the sorted item.
- Twice, to sort by descending alphabetical or numerical order. An arrow directing to the bottom ↓ displays beside the sorted item.
- Three times, to cancel sorting. No arrow displays.

Double-click on values of the following fields to edit the corresponding data:
- Current period value
- Previous period value
- Reminder
The reminder feature via email notification will be available at a later date.
Notes:
- Any update will automatically affect data of the Base case scenario on the Overview tab.
- If the values of the metrics are not displayed and the currency type selected for the entity is "Transaction Currency", check that the same currency is applied to all transactions in this entity. For more information, see Configure an Entity Scenario. Contact your Finance Active consultant for further assistance.
- If present, hover over the information icon
beside the metric name to display the associated description.

Click the pencil icon to edit the data for the previous period, the current period and/or ther next ones on a dedicated side pane. You can also add as many rows as necessary to fulfill data up to one year.

Click the clock icon to view the change history on a dedicated panel.
