Create a Dynamic Custom Attribute

Fairways Debt enables you to add as many fields as required, in addition to the standard fields. Dynamic custom attributes automatically compute values based on your rules. It means if a transaction detail matches a rule of the dynamic attribute, then the relevant value according to the rule displays in the transaction profile.

Custom attributes display as a:

  • Field in the transaction profile
  • Option to sort in the portfolio
  • Criterion of the portfolio filter
  • Column of the report
  • Analysis axis

Custom attributes are a very powerful feature that enables you to search, classify and analyze transactions using your own specific criteria.

Note: Only account administrators can manage custom attributes.

  2. Select a customer account.
  3. Click Account Administration Icon_AccountAdministration.png in the application menu.

Note: You should create at least as many rules as existing values. For example, if you create 3 values, you should create at least 3 rules, with 1 rule for each value.

If the Custom Attributes Auto Visible setting is enabled for the account, and if a detail of the transaction matches a rule of the dynamic custom attribute, the matching value displays. If the Custom Attributes Auto Visible setting is disabled for the account, you are required to manually enable the custom attribute for each organization.
