View and Export the Details of a Compounded Index Calculation

Fairways Debt enables you to view the details of a compounded indexation from the transaction schedule. The data with all the fixings used during the period are automatically exported to an Excel file.

Navigate to the Debt & Derivatives Application
  1. Log in to your Fairways Debt account.
  2. Select a customer account.
  3. Navigate to Applications > Debt & Derivatives.

 

Open a Transaction
  1. Navigate to the relevant portfolio.
  2. Click a transaction to open its profile.

View and Export the Details of a Compounded Index Calculation
  1. Navigate to the Detailed View tab on the transaction schedule.
  2. Click the export details icon ExportDetailsIcon.png on the line of the relevant period.

    Note: If a repayment or a drawing was performed on the transaction for a given period, another icon is displayed on the same line to view the corresponding calculation details.

The details of the compounded index calculation are exported to an Excel file.

The details show all the fixings used during the period, with the following information:
  • Start date: Date of the day in the period on which a fixing value is considered
  • Observation date: Actual date from which the fixing value is retrieved taking the lag into account
  • Observation days: Number of days between the observation date and the next business day (equals 1 during the week, equals 3 for Friday, +1 each time there is a holiday)
  • Interest days: Number of days from the start date to the next business day (equals 1 during the week, equals 3 for Friday, +1 each time there is a holiday)
  • Fixing: Value of the index on the observation date
  • Modified fixing: Fixing value after calculation including daily spread/cap/floor/margin
  • Reference index: Name of the index
